Vetrazzo® - A Dazzling Alternative to Granite

Vetrazzo® is a line of exquisite countertops proudly fabricated by Ideal Tile Fabrications. The Vetrazzo® product is crafted from recycled glass to be used anywhere natural stone is used; countertops, tabletops, architectural cladding and more. These countertops are composed of recycled glass, 85% of the content, with a binder of cement, additives, pigments and other recycled materials. 

Made from 85% recycled glass; up to 1,000 glass bottles are in one countertop. Most of the recycled glass comes from post-consumer curbside recycling programs. Other glass comes from post-industrial use from the manufacturing of windows, glassware, stemware, automotive glass, stained glass, laboratory glass, as well as reclaimed glass from building demolitions and other unusual sources such as old traffic light lenses. 

Due to the unique nature of the production and the materials, every countertop has its own history, feel, and look. Not two slabs are the same. 

Vetrazzo® is comparable in strength, scratch resistance, thermal resistance, durability, and care and maintenance to Granite. It is available in a wide array of colors with a high-gloss, polished finish. 

Besides being a beautiful countertop, Vetrazzo® has many unique performance characteristics. Vetrazzo® can withstand temperatures up to 600° Fahrenheit with no effect, though a trivet is always recommended to minimize surface wear. It is durable and resistant to everyday common surface use and wear.
